My Story at Kolej MARA Kulim in 2003/2004

In the morning in 2003, I lifted my bag and insert it into my family car that is Proton Perdana V6. Not only my luggage, but also my family luggage in order of them to send me to Kolej MARA Kulim which is this college is for the Pre-University students.

After all luggages was inserted into Proton Perdana, we all got into the car and my father started to press the car`s paddle and started to drive the car from Kelantan to Kedah. I was so excited as this is my first time studying outside of my state (Kelantan) and I started to think about how looking of the college. Is the college has new buildings or maybe an old buildings. How about its hostel? Is it comfortable? Or maybe it has an air-cond in the hostel? So many of thoughts in my mind about my new place of study, hehe..

And now, I have reached in Jeli (One of the district in Kelantan) and the scenery was fulfilled with the jungle.J After I passed my last college (Maktab Rendah Sains MARA Jeli), we have arrived in Grik and the scenery is also fulfilled with the jungle. My mother said, that is region have some elephants playing along the road. So, we always remembered about that in order to take necessary action when emergency situation happened. Then we started to climb (by car on the road) the hills in the Grik District and the journey was fulfilled with the tortuous roads. After we reached at the summit of the hilled roads, the condition of our sight was so limited. We cannot see anything for the range 8 meters onwards because the scenery on the summit of Grik hill was fulfilled with the fog and the air was so cold. We took our sweater respectively and slow down the fan of car`s air-cond. My father also took his sweater dan started to slow down the speed of the car in order to make sure the journey is safe, J

Then after 6 hours journey, I has arrived at Kulim and my father started to find hotel in order for us to sleep tonight because tomorrow I should register my name at Kolej MARA Kulim. After eaten a meals, we all decided to take a rest in the hotel and at that night, we all watched TV until 10 p.m and went to sleep after that.

I woke up at early morning at 6.00 a.m and take a bath. Then wear the uniform of the college in order to prepare for registration at 8 a.m. After my family has fully ready, we went to a restaurant and order Roti Canai for breakfast together. For about approximately 20 minutes we have eaten together, then my father took a car and drive to Kolej MARA Kulim.

At 7.40 a.m., we have arrived at Kolej MARA Kulim. My father found a parking and park a car in front of Kolej MARA Kulim`s field. We wait at the bench until 8 a.m. then at sharp 8 a.m. I entered the yard of the hall in order to make the student registration and entered the hall of Kolej MARA Kulim. I and all students of Kolej MARA Kulim who has registered their names heard the briefing until the briefing ended at 11 a.m.

After briefing ended, we all students went to canteen with parents to have a drinks. After that, we all entered the hostel while our parents waiting at the canteen. We all placed our luggages in the hostel and I turn back to the canteen to shake hands with my parents and I have kissed my father and mother hands to get their permission in order to strive here for a knowledge. At about 1 p.m., my parents start to get back to Kota bharu. My father has driven the car to home and I have taken a time to waving my hands before my parents back home. Hehehe… That`s all about our journey to Kolej MARA Kulim in 2003 J

My Closed Friends In Kolej MARA Kulim

Ok, so let`s me story you all about my story at Kolej MARA Kulim which was this memory happened between year of 2003 until 2004. My result in Kolej MARA Kulim was that I have gotten CGPA 4.00/4.00. The duration studying in Kolej MARA Kulim was 1 years which was 2 semester in the year of 2003 until 2004 which was this was a college for Pre-University level. Man Of Class I

Ok, let`s begin. My story in Kolej MARA Kulim was that I have to wake up early moning at about 6 a.m. to 6.30 a.m. for everyday. First, what have I done after woke up at early morning, I brush my teeth dan take a bath. Then I perform a Subuh prayer and went to Dewan Makan to have a breakfast. After that, we all student`s have a assembly at the field then get into our class respectively in order to have a lesson from teachers. And at the afternoon we have a rest in order to have a lunch and perform Zohor Prayer then we have a class until the evening. Then in the evening I with my friends was playing badminton in the hall of Kolej MARA Kulim. At about 6.30 p.m. , we have a dinner before perform Maghrib and Isyak Prayer. Normally, I perform Maghrib and Isyak Prayer at the Surau and we don`t have any class at night. We are free at night but we all student`s of Kolej MARA Kulim normally studied ourself at night because our spirit to enter a university was high. About my tables`s time at night, normally I studied in my Dorm and seldomly I shave studied with my friends in class. Then, at about 10.30 p.m. , we have a night drinks and normally our night`s drinks, the Dewan Selera provide us a drinks with a biscuits to eat. In Kolej MARA Kulim, we have a Dewan Selera, Class, Cyber Café, Computer Room, Operative, Hall, Café, Tennis Court, Football Field, River, Garden, Laundry and TV Room. It`s enough for us in order to survive in Kolej MARA Kulim which was our target was to enter a University with our course that we interested respectively. That`s was our target at that time.

The Way Before Climbing Gunung Kinabalu

And about Co-Curiculum, I have joined a Kelab XPDC Gunung Kinabalu ( Gunung Kinabalu Expedition Club) which was we all in one club have to have enough training before climbing the Mount which is the highest Mount in Sout East. What we have experienced was we have to climb hills in area Pulau Pinang and Kedah every Friday. The hills that we have conquered was Gunung Jerai, Bukit Mertajam, Bendera Hill and a fews hills in Kedah and Pulau Pinang.

The Yard Of Gunung Kinabalu

In Kolej MARA Kulim, I was the Vice-President Of Kelab Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya and also have joined a Dikir Barat shows in Kolej MARA Kulim. Beside that, I joined the Badminton Tournment between Sports House in Kolej MARA Kulim and got the second place which I have coupled with Alif and got the second place on the tournament. That was my story in Kolej MARA Kulim. Hehehe…

Of course, the main reason for what we was in Kolej MARA Kulim in 2003/2004 was to learn in order to enter University with our interested course respectively. What I was bring to my parents for about one year studying in Kolej MARA Kulim was that, I have got CGPA 4.00/4.00 besides of success to conquer the Gunung Kinabalu.
